I know I know :) I’m a very bad blogger. It’s been ages since I last blogged again. I changed teams at work and it’s been pretty hectic the last couple of weeks. But I love my new role in my new team therefore I don’t mind being busy. I’m also now more often in central London! I will hopefully move soon into central London.

The above pics were taken couple of weeks ago on my graduation day! Totally forgot to post them on my blog…

As you might have read on twitter I’m going to Dubai, Beijing and Tokyo in 1.5 weeks. I’m super excited :) Especially Tokyo… I guess its every fashion maniacs dream to go to Tokyo right?? I will take loads of pics for you guys. I might even vlog :) Im seriously considering to make videos on youtube. What do you think?

Duty Free Haul

Just a quick duty free haul :) They have a Zara in Terminal 3 at Heathrow... Isn't that great? They had sale on as well plus tax free so even cheaper! I also popped into boots and Mac quickly... I just tried the instant tan bronzer and its amazing :D I looked sooo tanned! I can do a before and after post if you like.

Anyway, I'm very tired... It's -15 degrees in Helsinki :-/ Sooo cold! I will pop into Gina Tricot after work tomorrow :) to keep my heart warm hehe

Beauty: Collective Haul & Christmas Presents

Hey guys :)

as promised a collective beauty haul and some Christmas presents. I think the photos are self-explanatory :D

I haven't used any of it yet. I only tried out the Soap and Glory perfume and I like it :) It's a very citrusy fresh smell and for £8 perfume and body butter is really a bargain don't you think?

I love the Boots half price sale :) You get so much for your money!

I'm very curious to try out the frontcover cosmetic :) The jumbo eyeshadow pencils look great :) so does the blue eyed girl set! If you want I can do a full review on it. Just leave a comment below!

I'm off to Helsinki tomorrow - snow boots packed :) winter coat packed :) Gloves and hat packed :) Still no snow in the UK so I'm looking forward to the snow! It's only a 3 day business trip but nevertheless I can't wait. I will definitely pop into Gina Tricot. My MUST VISIT SHOP in Helsinki.

Hey guys,

This is what I wore today :) When I have to work from the London office I put more effort into my outfit :) Not sure why. Maybe because people in Soho inspire me!

I worked till late today and went after work to Lacoste on Regent Street to exchange something. Welllllllllll, my plan was to go straight home after that :( As usual I went shopping on Regent Street for nearly 2 hours. I will do a big haul on Saturday with everything I bought in the sale up to now. So stay tuned.

I'm off to bed now. Very tired. If you are following me on twitter then you know that I had a very stressful morning :(

I'm again in London tomorrow :D But no shopping! I half promise!!!

Hey guys :)

Finally, an outfit post. Sorry about the weird pictures but by the time I get home its already dark plus I need a tripod so I can take better pictures and have a nicer background. Anyway, the camera and remote control were the first steps :) next is a tripod on my list.

I still need to post my sale beauty haul on my blog. I have stored everything in a box so I can take pics. Hopefully on Saturday. I'm off to Helsinki on Sunday. Its a business trip and I will be there till Wednesday. We dont have any snow in the UK but I guess they will have plenty of snow over there. Its the third time I'm going to Helsinki since I started my job in July. I really love the city :) Especially all the scandinavian shops that we don't have in the UK such as Gina Tricot. I seriously love that shop :)

If there are any followers out there from Helsinki. Do you have any other recommendations? Obviously shop wise :) Or maybe finish beauty brands that I need to try out.

I need to pop into selfridges tomorrow :) I'm lusting for the Nars Cactus Flower blusher and Laguna bronzer and some Chanel cosmetic... OH BOY! I want so many things.

I'm off now. Will be watching a movie on my laptop.

VERY LONG TIME no see. I was soooo busy with my Master dissertation and my new job that I could not post on my blog for ages :( BUT I submitted my dissertation yesterday and now I'm free. We went with hubby to the BBC Proms last night :) Celebrating our anniversary and the submission of my dissertation. It was great :) You definitely should go at some point in your life. Tomorrow I'm off to Finland :) HELSINKI here I come. To be more precise I'm going with work. I will be busy with work from Monday to Friday but I will be staying till Monday :) So I have 2.5 days to explore Helsinki. Have you got any recommendations?? I will try and take loads of pics.

I'm off to watch a movie with hubby now :) I leave you with the pics from last night. Unfortunately, I only had my phone with me so quality is not that great :( Sorry.

Hello Hello :)

Hope you are all well. I thought I do a FOTD from last week :D So a Face of Last Week!

I was sent by Eyeko a Graffiti Eyeliner Pen in Jet Black and a Liptastik Glossy Lip Pen in Hot Pink to try :) I have heard a lot about the brand Eyeko in the Bloggersphere but so far I only tried their Eyeko Cream with Extra Glow. BTW I love the extra glow cream.

Wanted to post real pictures of products but camera broke on Sunday :( Sorry!

I'm not an eyeliner person :) Tooo shaky for eyeliner. Plus I think it looks too harsh on me. So I was not sure if I will be able to use it. However, once I opened the package and tried the eyeliner I was pleasantly surprised. It is very easy to use and glides on the skin. So I experimented a bit :) As you can see from the picture I used it on my lower lash line but only half way through and blended it out with a Q-tip. I love the result :) It is not too harsh but still defines my eyes. What do you think??

The Liptastik Glossy Lip Pen became straight away my favourite :) I don't like lipglosses but LOVE lipsticks. And this pen is just gorgeous :) Very nice and smooth. Glides perfectly on the lips and even if you have dry lips it does not show the imperfections. I went to a Hen Night last Saturday posted here and I took it with me :) Everybody complimented me on my lipcolour. However, most importantly, due to being in a pen form :) You can still apply it precisely even when you are a bit tipsy :D hehe I will definitely purchase the other Liptastik colours :) So stay tuned for more Eyeko Reviews.

I hope you are well. I’m very excited at the moment as I have very exciting days awaiting for me J I have a graduate job! Its a dream job at a dream company. However, finding a place to live proves to be very challenging PLUS I’m writing on my dissertation. I need to hurry up with my dissi as I won’t have much time once I start my full time job. I will soon be living closer to London which is very exciting.

Anyway J The blog post today is about Nailtiques products or also known as MIRACLE products. I’m sure I’ve posted before about my miracle product for my weak, peeling nails. I’ve been using the Nailtiques Nail Protein Formula 2 for 4 years now. Honestly, it’s the best nail product I came across in my life J And I’m 27 and a beauty addict for many years. About three months ago I tried another Nailtiques product, the cuticle and skin gel. I have very dry cuticles and they can look horrible. Last week, I was contacted by Nailtiques. The friendly PR Lady saw my tweet (I was raving about Nailtiques) on Twitter. So she sent me an email telling me about Nailtiques new Nail Lacquer with Protein range. As a big fan of the brand I agreed to test one of the new nail polishes.

Nailtiques claims:

The unique blend of colour and protein allows the protein to penetrate through the polish providing maximum strength with high gloss shine, long-lasting wear and highest quality formula, ensuring strong healthy nails.

Available in 16 classic colours which have been named after exotic locations around the world with spa’s offering nailtiques treatments and products, from a French pink, ‘St Tropez’ to a rich blackcurrant, ‘Havana’.

I agree with all the claims Nailtiques makes. It’s just another great Nailtiques product. I received the shade Monte Carlo (307). A gorgeous colours as you can see from the pictures. The application of the nail polish was easy and enjoyable J Yes enjoyable as it went on like a gel. Nice and smooth in two coats. Even one coat would have been enough but I just prefer two coats. There was no need to use a topcoat as it dried very quickly and was very shiny. Normally, I use Seche Vite as a topcoat to make the polish dry quickly and make it more shiny but honestly I did not feel the need for it with this polish. It lasted me 5 days without chipping. I’m sure it would have lasted longer but I just don’t like wearing the same polish for more than 5 days as I get fed up with the colour. I think this nail polish is comparable to OPI but with the advantage of providing your nails with protein. I will definitely try out other colours from this range. The combination of protein and colour is a brilliant idea.

My camera is not the best. Will be getting a new one soon. The colour is really vibrant in reality!

REVIEW: Scott Cornwall Str8 Forward Super Straight Home Kit + Before/After Pics

Hello Hello :)

I've been getting sooo many requests to do a review on the Scott Cornwall Str8 Forward Super Straight Home Hair Straightening Kit. So last week I finally had time to try it out on my sisters hair. As you can see from the pictures below she has quite curly hair. And these are the things you that need know:

The whole application process took nearly half a day :) I know it sounds quite long but you have to consider that there are various steps that need to be done to get a good result.
Don't be scared it is very very easy to use. If I can do it everybody can do it :) Before we started we watched Scot Cornwall's Video (Here) on youtube and it made the whole process pretty clear.
You do have to remember that you are not allowed to wash or get your hair wet for 3 days. Which can be quite challenging in the UK :) but my sister had the whole week off and she carried an umbrella everywhere.
As you can see from the last couple of pics her hair is not poker straight but there is a huge difference to the before pictures. Scot Cornwall is talking in his video about a Japanese method to get it poker straight but I'm not sure what it is.

OVERALL: My sister is very happy with the result :) If she wants her hair poker straight it only takes her half the time than it took before to straighten them. We don't know how long it will last but if you want I can update again. If it does not last very long than I don't think its worth the hassle HOWEVER if it lasts at least a month than its definitely worth doing it as it will save you so much time every morning.

Buffing Your Way to Bronzed?

There are really good reviews about the Bare Escentuals Faux Tan Gel on Makeupalley and while reading the reviews there was a talk about a brush to buff in the gel. So I browsed the internet and found this Video. What a genius idea isn't it?? :) Unfortunately, the brush is not available in the UK. WHYYYYYYY??

Anyway... thanks to the WORLD WIDE WEB :D I was able to buy the brush on Ebay US. Was a bit pricey but I really like the idea of using a brush to apply fake tan. I hate using a mitt or gloves. And as many fake tanners stain the hands when applied with bare hands the brush might make the self-tanned stained palms a problem of the past. I think I will be buying the Bare Escentuals Faux Tan Gel as well.

If anyone has any experience with the brush or the Bare Escentuals Faux Tan Gel please comment :D I would love to hear your experience.

Hello Hello :)

I'm so looking forward to summer :) The weather is gorgeous in the UK and I think that made me even more excited. I love everything neon at the moment. I have been looking for ages for neon nail polishes. I spent hours in drugstores but NADA! So last week when I was on ebay I found these babies. I fell in love immediately.

I have received them today :) Unfortunately I could not swatch them as I painted my nails last night and I did not want ruin it today. So I swatched them on a piece of paper. If you want I can do a full review on them but you know what?? Even if they last only a day its definitely worth the effort for these babies :) hahaha

I included the seller below the last picture in case you want to own these babies too. I paid £7.45 for all six. I know its incredibly cheap when you think how much an OPI nail polish costs.

Hey my Sweeties,

Sitting in the library as usual :) my second home. Anyway... I decided to create a column on my blog where I will introduce you occasionally to my Can'tLiveProducts.

My first Can'tLiveProduct is the Carmex Mint Tube. I know I know many of you are already a huge fan of Carmex :) BUT... I'm raving about the MINT version. It is just AHHH-MMMAAAZZZINNNGGG.

Firstly, it has a SPF of 15 which is great when considered many lip balms don't have an SPF at all.
Secondly, it contains menthol which is supposed to kill germs. PLUS it gives you a fresh breath :)
Thirdly, the ingredient phenol is known for speeding up the healing process.

I have always had really dried and chapped lips. Believe or not very often it used to bleed. You can imagine how painful this can be. Throughout, the years I have tried 100000000000000000000 lip balms :) Some were good and some not but nothing was EXCEPTIONALLY good that I could say its a Can'tLiveProduct. BUT... This is the best lip balm ever - in the entire Universe :) Honestly, no exaggeration.

Have any of you tried the Carmex Mint Tube?? If yes what do you think?? I would love to hear your experiences.

Mac & Topshop Haul

Hi Guys,

As you probably noticed I don't blog as often anymore. I'm sooo busy with University its not even funny. As you know I'm doing my Masters and all my assignments are due end of March. So its a very busy time at the moment.

ANYWAYYYYYYYYYY :) I do not want to bore you with University stuff. Thanks to the Internet I can shop 24 hours :D Therefore, at nights instead of sleeping I shop haha :) I've recently ordered some stuff from Mac and Topshop.

I've been craving the Mac Club eyeshadow for ages. So last week I finally decided to order it :D I got the Mac Club eyeshadow and Viva Glam 2 lipstick. Originally, I had ordered the lipglass too but I sent it back as it was very similar to the one I bought from Topshop (see pic below). However, now that the money is been refunded back I can order something else instead :D I'm thinking about getting the Mac Vegas Volt Lipstick. What do you think? Do you own it already?? I think it is a gorgeous colour for the summer :D

As you can see from the pictures below I also bought a lip pencil from Mac in the colour Magenta. It must have been a month ago. I tweeted about it :D I wore it to Uni and everybody asked me which lipstick it was. Its really eye catchy.

I also bought from Topshow their new creme lipcolour in Tawny. It's a gorgeous nude and its very similar to the Viva Glam 2 lipglass. Topshop's creme blush in Neon Rose also landed in my shopping basket its such a gorgeous colour :) Perfect for SS.

Mac's eyeshadow in the shade CLUB has been forever on my wishlist :) I've been craving it for such a long time. Every time I see swatches of it I'm even more in love with it. Today, I decided to finally order it. After looking around on the website the Viva Glam 2 lipstick and lipglass landed in my shopping basket too. I had an eye on creme d nude but people always told me that it would too light for my skin and after doing a bit research I found out that the Viva Glam 2 is a bit darker therefore more suitable for darker skin. Have you tried any of it already? Was it a good decision to buy it??

I can't wait for the delivery :) I will post some swatches so you can see for yourself whether it suits me or not.

Hi Guys :)

I'm in Germany... Finally! Will be staying here for a week.

As you can see from the pictures I could not resist and bought couple of things. The Chanel bronzer is AHHH-MAZZIIINNNGGG! Love it... Worth the hard earned money.

I also bought the Vogue Spring Summer Collections Magazine. I paid 25 pounds for it but it is soooo worth the money. Its a gorgeous magazine. I should not really call it a magazine. It is more like book :) Really thick and full with pictures. Have you ever bought it? It comes out twice a year and I will definitely repurchase it in future.

Tomorrow I will check out the GERMAN DRUGSTORES :) I have a huge shopping list. Hope I can find everything.

Any recommendations my super sweet German followers???

Heyo Babes,

Long time no see. I know I keep repeating it in every post but uni is pretty intense. No time for a break. Therefore, I decided to take my own break. I'm going on Saturday to Germany for a week. See family and friends and have short break from all the stress.

Just came from Uni. It's bloody cold again :( Was really happy when it was a bit warmer the last couple of weeks. Thought I could put away my winter coats but now that it got colder - Well, that was that!

It's really weird but I'm such a beauty junkie right now :) Never bought that many cosmetics. I will do a separate post this week :) showing all my goodies.

As you can see from the pic :) I'm wearing tie bow again. I'm sooo in love with tie bows at the moment. The one that I'm wearing in the pic is my hubbys hehehe He wore it to our wedding. Funny don't you think?? Do you like women wearing bow ties??

Our families are abroad so we spent Christmas with friends. We had a wonderful time.

I'm at home today catching up with all the Uni work that I should have done the last three days :( Have been so lazy. Can't motivate myself. I'm so glad it's my last year.

Hubbs took some photos of my outfit yesterday. I wore a sequin shrug and a hat to make the outfit more formal. I really struggled to decide what to wear yesterday. What did you wear?

The sale started today :-/ I'm really skint so I stayed at home. For the first time in many many years I stayed at home and didn't go sale shopping on boxing day. Really depressive! I have to wait till I get paid from my part time job... *Rub Hands*
